Christmas at Arlington

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well
Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.
Peace, peace and farewell

Every year since 1992, Morrill Worcester of Harrington, Maine has seen that his firm, Worcester Wreath Company, donates 5,000 wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery. Many years, local school kids come along to help place the wreaths. "It is a great honor," Worcester says, "to be able to come here and pay our respects."

Volunteers from the Blue Bird Ranch Trucking Company of Jonesboro transport all the wreaths to Arlington. This year marks the 14th year that the Worcester Wreath Company and the Blue Bird Ranch Trucking Company have worked with the Maine State Society to honor our nation’s veterans during the holiday season.
