Endless Vacation’s 1999-2000 RCI Directory of Resorts mailing to North American
members of Resort Condominiums International LLC, the world’s leading timeshare-exchange company, is nearly complete.
The new directory lists more than 3,000 of the 3,400 resorts available for exchange to RCI’s 2.4 million member
families. All U.S. -based member directories will have been mailed by March 1.
RCI’s first directory published in 1975 listed only 19 resorts and had no pictures. At that time, RCI had just 1,000 members who made 236 exchanges.
"The new directory provides a concrete example of how RCI and the timeshare industry have matured," says Ron E. Jackson, RCI president and chief operating officer North America. "Twenty-five years ago, we had one version of the directory and 35 affiliated resorts, all selling fixed weeks. Today, we have 3,400 affiliated resorts selling fixed- and float-weeks as well as points. We’ve responded to these different ownership structures with 19 different versions of the directory, including 11 club versions."
Additional enhancements to the 1999-2000 directory were made in response to requests from members. They include:
