SAN DIEGO, CA -- From the beautiful Bay Area to the historic nation's capital, Woodfin Suite Hotels are offering value-priced millennium packages that let travelers ring in the new year in style.

Celebrate New Year's Eve at any Woodfin Suite Hotel, and the specially trained staff will make sure you have a great party without spending a bundle.

"By offering great rates in exciting destinations, we are giving our guests the deal of the century for their millennium celebration,'' said Tana Farrell, chief operating officer, Woodfin Suite Hotels. ``Guests can choose to host a party in our spacious suites, or explore destinations such as San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Either way, we'll have breakfast waiting in the morning.''

Each Woodfin property is offering its own unique New Year's package. For example, the Woodfin Suite Hotel in Rockville, Md., will greet guests with a gift basket, complete with champagne and morning-after hang over kit. In addition, guests will enjoy dinner for two at nearby JJ Muldoons. In the morning, guests can enjoy a bountiful buffet breakfast, their first of the year 2000. Rockville package rates are based on availability and range from $200 to $250 per couple, per night.

On the West Coast, guests may choose to stay at either of two Bay Area Woodfin Suite Hotels, where they may warm from the cool San Francisco breezes next to a romantic wood-burning fireplace. In addition to the great rate in a typically expensive area, both properties welcome guests with champagne, party favors for two and other special treats. Located approximately 45 minutes from downtown San Francisco, the Newark and the Sunnyvale, Calif. properties are perfect for visitors who wish to make a weekend of their New Year's celebration. Northern California properties offer rates that range from $189 to $500 per couple, per night.

Couples seeking a mountain escape from the millennium madness may spend either two or three nights sipping champagne and nibbling on chocolate covered strawberries at the Residence Inn by Trolley Square in Salt Lake City. Nestled between to Wasatch and Oquirah mountains, guests may choose to spend their days in the city, visiting the Mormon Tabernacle or on the slopes at any of the nearby ski resorts. Salt Lake City package rates are based on availability and range from $199 for a one-night stay to $365 for three nights in a penthouse suite.

Other Woodfin Suite Hotels are offering similar deals, ranging from $159 per night or $800 for three-nights in a penthouse suite, to $2000 for a five-night stay at or a New Year's Eve Party for 10. For more information about these or any of the Woodfin millennium packages, visit the Web site at
