VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, NC -- For a limited time, Pinehurst® is offering special one-night packages to provide a great golf experience during North Carolina's mild-tempered late autumn and early winter months. As the temperatures cool off, Pinehurst is making it easier to get away and play on some of the world's most prestigious golf courses.

Between November 1, 1999, and February 9, 2000, a limited number of two- day/one-night packages will be available, including:

• The Midweek one-night golf package - includes accommodations, breakfast and a round of golf on select courses. Rates start at $115 per person.
• The Weekend one-night golf package - includes accommodations, dinner and breakfast and a round of golf on select courses - including the new Pinehurst No. 4 opening for limited play in December. Rates start at $179 per person.
• The Championship one-night golf package - includes accommodations, dinner and breakfast, in addition to a round of golf on one of Pinehurst's most celebrated courses - No. 4, 8 or 7. Rates start at $334 per person for the Championship package.
