ROSEMONT, ILL -- Hyatt Rosemont, Chicago's newest suburban hotel located near O'Hare International Airport and
minutes away from the Rosemont Convention Center, welcomed its first guests October 5. The 206-room hotel, which
is owned and managed by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, is fully operational. Hyatt Rosemont joins 10 other Hyatt hotels
in the Chicago area.
The hotel was designed by VOA Associates Inc., and built by a joint venture of Power Construction and Degen &
Rosato Construction Company Inc.
Hyatt Rosemont offers guests another place to feel the Hyatt Touch in the Rosemont area, where Hyatt has had a
strong presence with the 1100-room Hyatt Regency O'Hare since 1971. Complimentary shuttle service between Hyatt
Rosemont and O'Hare International Airport will be offered in conjunction with Hyatt Regency O'Hare.
"In addition to serving as a convenient meeting place for members of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
attending continuing education courses at the Orthopaedic Learning Center, which is adjacent to the hotel, Hyatt
Rosemont allows Hyatt to be a partner in Rosemont's continued prosperity,'' said Douglas G. Geoga, president, Hyatt

Hyatt Rosemont has 7,600 square feet of function space including a 3,000 square foot ballroom, a 4,000 square foot
meeting area divisible into four separate meeting rooms and a 600 square foot boardroom. The full-service hotel
offers concierge service, on-site sales and catering and 24-hour room service. River Terrace Cafe, a 120 seat three-meal
restaurant and lounge, features a display kitchen, rotisserie and outdoor seating.
