Hampton Inn Chain to Open "Millennium Hotel" in Clinton, New Jersey

CLINTON, NJ -- Hampton Inn, the national chain of moderately price hotels, yesterday announced that it will officially open its first hotel of the new millennium in Clinton, New Jersey, on January 1, 2000 at 12:01 a.m., designating that property as its ``Millennium Hotel.'' The 130-room Hampton Inn, located at exit 15 on Interstate 87, will be the rapidly expanding brand's 916th hotel to open worldwide.

The Clinton Hampton Inn is less than a mile from historic downtown attractions, including Red Mill, Stone Mill and the Clinton Guild Shops. The property will provide daily complimentary hot/cold Wbreakfast buffet, outdoor swimming pool, free local phone calls, same day cleaning/laundry service, guest laundry facilities, on-site fitness center and two conference rooms accommodating up to 60 people each. Guest rooms are furnished with a full-size ironing board, iron, coffee makers, hair dryers and work desks equipped with dataport. ``We are confident that this property will attract both business and leisure travelers to northern New Jersey and the surrounding area, quickly making the hotel a market leader,'' adds Dolan.
