CARLSBAD, CA -- U.S. Microbics, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: BUGS) announced yesterday that the company has shipped
its new Bio-Miracle(TM) product and Wasteline(TM) proprietary microbial blends to five of the Ritz Carlton Hotels
in Southern California for waste treatment and odor control use by the housekeeping, kitchen and engineering departments.
At the forefront of an ever-growing, environmentally conscious hospitality industry, the Ritz-Carlton hotels look
to the future use off microbes instead of harsh chemicals to solve annoying drain backup problems. A seven-day
demonstration of the proprietary microbial blend on guest vanity drains has proven highly successful. Prior to
the application of the microbes, the guest vanity drainpipes had shown a 30% flow decrease, due to buildup from
shampoo, conditioner, lotions, and various other drain-slowing sediments. After the seven-day application, the
restricted drainpipes were cleared of the sediment buildup. With the continued use of the microbial blends in a
customized maintenance program, drain backups due to sediment buildup should be minimized in the future.
The hotel also uses the Wasteline(TM) proprietary microbial blends for grease trap maintenance in its kitchen operations.
The microbes, when applied to a grease trap, reduce fats, greases, carbohydrates and proteinacious matter which
often causes grease traps to clog, over-flow and shut-down kitchen operations. Wasteline(TM) products have proven
cost effective when used in a routine application program.
Bio-Miracle(TM), an industrial strength ``Super Oxygenate'' odor eliminator, has also demonstrated its usefulness
in the hospitality industry. Bio- Miracle(TM) has been shown to quickly eliminate offensive odors created by kitchen
and bathroom residue, cigarette smoke, carpet and upholstery spills and stains, and foul-smelling waste containers.

already proven effective in assisted living facilities and up-scale restaurants.
Based upon the success at several Ritz-Carlton hotel locations, U.S. Microbics anticipates future shipments to
additional Ritz Carlton hotels and working with other hotel chains seeking cost effective, environmentally conscious,
waste treatment and odor control solutions. The company currently sells the product directly to hotels and expects
