Press Release
September 28, 2001
The Timeshare Beat, Inc.
HONOLULU, HI -- On September 24th, The Timeshare Beat, Inc. announced its 'Sun & Fun' promotion and today we are packing our bags and getting ready to fly to and vacation at some very special resorts in some very special places. We invite our 1 Million annual readers to come along.

Last week's 'Sun & Fun' announcement stimulated interest from both travelers (our readers) and resorts the world over. As of today, we have confirmed and booked our airfare and resort reservations to the City that never sleeps-- exciting Las Vegas, Nevada-- as well as the upscale and fashionable community of Scottsdale Arizona.

While in Las Vegas, by the gracious invitation of Mr. Robert C. Wengel, Chief Operations Officer for Diamond Resorts International (DRI), the principals of The Timeshare Beat, Inc. will be spending a week at the beautiful Villas at Polo Towers.

The Villas at Polo Towers is the company's newest Tower in Las Vegas. According to Mr. Wengel, the Villas at Polo Towers "…features an Italian Villa theme from the Tuscany region of Italy…" and 'The Beat' sincerely thanks the good folks at DRI for supporting our 'Sun & Fun' promotion and for their invitation.

Diamond Resorts International (DRI) is a group of affiliated companies that develops, operates and markets vacation ownership resorts in the western United States and has dominated the vacation ownership market in Las Vegas for more than 20 years.

According to Mr. Hackman, President of The Timeshare Beat, Inc. who will be participating in the 'Sun & Fun' excursion, "Although this will be our first visit to this unique property, several of our readers have written us describing their stay at Polo towers. Based on their experiences, we are truly excited about vacationing at this Five Star, Interval International affiliated Resort."

When the staff of 'The Beat' leaves Las Vegas, they will be flying off to Scottsdale, Arizona and by invitation of Mr. Jerry Sikes, founder and President of PRO Management, 'The Beat' will be vacationing at "The Most Requested Timeshare Resort in Arizona", Scottsdale Camelback Resort. A heart felt thank you to Mr. Sikes for his participation in the 'Sun & Fun' promotion and his warm invitation.

PRO (Professional Resort Management) was founded by Jerry Sikes, a pioneer in the timeshare industry and involved in the hospitality industry for 35 years. PRO opened for business in 1989 and is actively involved in and responsible for the hospitality management of timeshare resorts.

PRO's philosophy is based on integrity, accountability and professionalism and PRO interfaces with the Board of Directors and their staff, the Association members, to develop an effective and professional management team.

Scottsdale Camelback Resort is an RCI affiliated Gold Crown resort nestled in the foothills of majestic Camelback Mountain and can truly be described as 'A Paradise in the Desert'. The Scottsdale Camelback Resort is a picture perfect destination and 'The Beat' expects to cherish this 'Sun & Fun' vacation for a lifetime.

Last week's 'Sun & Fun' (Land-Sea-Air) press release by The Timeshare Beat, Inc. was in direct response to the enormous number of inquiries that we received from our readers regarding vacationing, travel and safety concerns due to the recent events at the WTC and the Pentagon.

In response, our belief is that by having 'The Beat' flying to, staying at, reporting on and sharing with our readers the exciting travel opportunities that await them at timeshare resorts worldwide, they, too, will be inclined to once again start booking those friendly skies.

"It's all about safety, family, friends, travel, fun, sun and vacationing," stated Hackman. "We want to share with our readers that we believe this is a great and safe time to start booking those holiday trips and we are asking the resorts that are participating in this 'Sun & Fun' promotion to offer our readers some incredible values to stay at their resorts.

"At each resort where we vacation, once our initial review of the resort is completed and we publish a front page story, each resort will then be permanently linked off our front page under a special heading. This exposure will also be available on our Top Ten visited pages as well--- including a 'special promotional heading' in our Classifieds section so that our readers can access the resort promotion 24/7."

In addition Hackman added, "A key element to the success of the 'Sun & Fun' promotion will also include interviews with owners/guests staying at the resorts that we visit. We will also publish their perspectives (and photos) so that we can share their travel successes, fun and safe adventures etc. with our readers as well.

"We believe that this approach (interviewing guests--and showing 'real' people--photos), along with the fact that we are 'airborne', will induce other vacationers to reconsider their travel plans, book airfares and vacation at timeshare resorts.

"We will also be dining at the restaurants at the resort and physically use and photograph 'activities' on-site as well as in the community. All that information and photographs will be included in the multiple page layout that will be permanently hosted in our online magazine promoting the participating resort."

As a special incentive for our readers, The Timeshare Beat, Inc. will be hosting a grand prize drawing and will give away a $1,000.00 cash prize to some lucky vacationer. This drawing will be available to any reader of 'The Beat' who takes advantage of a resort promotion and e-mails us their reservation dates and the name of the participating resort where they will be vacationing.

Once their check-in at the resort is confirmed, their names will go into a pool and the drawing will take place and be announced in a front-page lead story on 'The Beat'. The Timeshare Beat, Inc. will FedEx or bank wire the funds to the winner.

This will be an ongoing event (subject to change of prize(s), amount(s), date(s) etc.) and is not available to any employees directly or indirectly associated with the Timeshare Industry or The Timeshare Beat, Inc. The first drawing of $1000.00 cash will be held on December 15th, 2001.

To qualify for this drawing there is no requirement by The Timeshare Beat, Inc. or the participating resort(s) to attend any sales presentations (although we do encourage those interested in obtaining a vacation plan do so of their own free will). This drawing is not available in any jurisdiction that has any statutes etc., which restrict and/or prohibit such drawings.

To insure a long term and successful promotion for our readers and the success for participating resorts, The Timeshare Beat, Inc. is only offering one resort per US City/Region, Canadian Province and Caribbean island so interested resorts should carefully consider this powerful opportunity.
