ORLANDO, FL -- Fairfield Resorts, Inc., one of the largest vacation ownership companies in the United States, yesterday
announced the appointment of Laurence E. Kinsolving as the Company's new Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Kinsolving joins Fairfield Resorts from the law firm of Carlton Fields, P.A., where he served as leader of the
Real Estate Practice Group and represented clients, including Fairfield Resorts, on a wide range of matters relating
to condominiums, timeshares and master planned communities. As executive vice president and general counsel, Kinsolving
will serve as Fairfield's chief legal officer and direct and oversee all operations of the Company's law department,
including its registration and government relations, deeding, and legal divisions.

Kinsolving is a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and serves as chairman of the American Resort
Development Association's Federal Issues Committee. He is a member of The Florida Bar Real Property Probate and
Trust Law Section, where he also serves on the Executive Council as vice chair of the Condominium Committee. Kinsolving
attended Harvard Law School (J.D., 1968) and Gonzaga University (B.A. Honors, 1965). He is a frequent speaker
on condominium, timesharing and real estate development topics, and has authored several works, including a chapter
entitled "Timeshare Condominiums" for the Florida Condominium Law and Practice Manual.
