Boca Raton, FL -- Bluegreen Corp. (NYSE: BXG), a leading developer and marketer of vacation ownership resorts,
golf communities, and residential land, has hired Robert Minnigan as vice president and general manager of Big
Cedar Wilderness Club™. In his new position, Minnigan will be responsible for sales, marketing, development, and
overall resort operations at Big Cedar Wilderness Club, located in the Ozark Mountains, near Branson, MO.
Big Cedar Wilderness Club, a vacation ownership project being developed in partnership between Bluegreen Corp.
and Big Cedar LLC, opened next to Big Cedar Lodge for charter members in August 2001. Visitors to the resort also
have access to the amenities offered at Big Cedar Lodge.
Minnigan anticipates doubling the size of the existing staff as he oversees the development of all operations including
sales and marketing. Minnigan's initial focus will be overseeing completion of construction at Big Cedar Wilderness
Club. When completed, accommodations will include 60 cabins and 232 lodge units, as well as a state-of-the-art
Clubhouse.
Prior to joining Bluegreen, Minnigan spent 10 years at Walt Disney World Vacation Club in Orlando. Minnigan plans
to combine his broad range of experience in different positions at the Orlando timeshare and develop a cohesive
package for all operating aspects of Big Wilderness Vacation Club.
