Viva Resorts Renames Its Six Properties To Enhance Brand Recognition Of 'Viva' Name

--Offers Entertainment, activity-Packed, All-Inlusive Vacation Value--

September 11, 2001
MIAMI, FL -- Viva Resorts, with six all-inclusive properties in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic and Mexico, has refined the names of its individual hotels and eliminated use of the word “Club” to enhance worldwide brand recognition under the simplified banner of “Viva.”

“The popularity of the Viva Resorts brand has grown tremendously since the company’s inception in 1997,” said Ettore Colussi, president of Viva Resorts. “The decision to omit the word ‘Club’ from the name of each property was made to focus on Viva’s full-service and value-packed all-inclusive vacation for all potential guests, including singles, couples, honeymooners and families.

“When consumers and travel agents think of the Viva Resorts name they often describe our ‘Live the Moment’ motto by detailing experiences that are fun-filled, activity packed, a culturally-inspired ambiance, a high-energy atmosphere and international accents on both food and service,” Colussi added.

The name changes take effect immediately and are as follows:

In addition to changing the name of the resorts, Viva Resorts has a new logo that further enhances the Viva brand.

“We will maintain our commitment to quality as each Viva property will continue to offer our popular value-packed, all-inclusive vacations,” noted Colussi.

A Viva Resorts all-inclusive vacation package includes: accommodations; full breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks; unlimited beverages, cocktails and wine; daily activities and fitness programs; unlimited non-motorized watersports with complimentary lessons; enrollment in the Viva Kid’s Club; live nightly entertainment; all taxes, surcharges, gratuities; and much more.

Families staying at a Viva Resorts property enjoy additional savings because children under 12 years of age are invited to stay, play and eat FREE when sharing a room with two paying adults (maximum of two children per room).
