Trendwest Resorts Names Jan Cannon Vice President of Human Resources

REDMOND, WA -- Trendwest Resorts, Inc., a leader in the vacation ownership industry, recently announced Jan Cannon as Vice President of Human Resources. In this capacity, Ms. Cannon brings together the human resource and training and development groups with a comprehensive employee development strategy to help guide the company through it's next stage of growth.

Ms. Cannon brings to Trendwest vast experience in working through change having gone through twelve mergers and acquisitions. In previous human resource and operations senior management positions, Ms. Cannon's responsibilities were heavily focused on change management, cultural shifts and learning programs that supported key business initiatives to move the business forward.

"We were looking for someone with Jan's ability to respond and manage through change. With the rapid growth that Trendwest has experienced over the past few years, it is critical that our employees are able to grow with us," stated Al Schriber, Executive Vice President.

Ms. Cannon holds a bachelor's degree in Communications Studies from Seattle University in addition to completed the Executive Program at Stanford University and attending the Wharton School for Financial Management. Jan and her husband, Chris, relocated from Scottsdale, AZ to North Bend, WA in 1992. Her interests include music, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and gardening.
