NORTHBROOK, IL -- Shell Vacations LLC in conjunction with a newly formed entity, Shell Vacations Club - Pacific
Group, has recently opened the four new West Coast Off-Site Preview Centers.
The four Preview Centers are located in Lynnwood, and Vancouver, Washington and in California in Sacramento and
San Diego.
According to Simon Crawford-Welch, Ph.D., RRP, Shell's Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, "The
aggressive expansion of our distribution system on the West Coast simply reflects the execution of our strategic
plan and growth strategy for 2001 and beyond. The name of the game is distribution, distribution, and more distribution."
The formation of Shell Vacations Club - Pacific Group, LLC is the result of Shell Vacations LLC joining forces
with Michael Vasey and Bill Tsao, formerly President and Chief Operating Officer respectively of Vacation Marketing
Systems, Inc., (VMSI) a Lynnwood, WA-based company. "We are delighted to have joined forces with a company
like Shell Vacations," said Michael Vasey. "We believe Shell Vacations Club to be the most innovative
and consumer-oriented points-based Club in the industry today, and with our proven track record in vacation ownership
sales, we have a winning combination" he added.
