MIAMI, FL -- Trendwest Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWRI) has selected Interval International as exchange provider for
all new sales effective October 1, 2001. Craig M. Nash, chairman and chief executive officer of Interval International
and William F. Peare, president and chief executive officer of Trendwest Resorts, Inc, made the announcement.
With $338 million in annual revenue for 2000, Trendwest is one of the largest timeshare developers in the world.
The company's resorts are in high-demand destinations with a concentration in the Western United States, and span
from Whistler, Canada, to Los Cabos, Mexico, and Kona, Hawaii, to Branson, Missouri. Recently, Trendwest expanded
its resort system to locations in Australia and the Fiji Islands. With this agreement, Interval will now provide
exchange services for all of Trendwest's resorts located in 42 destinations.
