NORTHBROOK, IL -- Shell Vacations LLC has recently tapped industry veteran Lee Lins for the position of General
Sales Manager at its Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Lins has been with Shell Vacations for the past four years, most recently as Sales Manager of the company's Legacy
Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Previously, he was Senior Sales Manager and then Director of Sales at Shell's Starr
Pass Resort in Tucson, Arizona. He has been involved in the sale of point based products for the past eight years.
With more than a dozen years of vacation ownership sales management experience, Lins was also a Sales Manager a
Senior Sales Manager for Hilton Grand Vacations Company in Las Vegas.
As General Sales Manager at Holua at Mauna Loa Village, Lins will supervise a staff of sales managers and approximately
25 sales associates. The company's point-based Shell Vacations Club is being sold at the property, which is now
open for both sales and owner occupancy.
Located in the Keauhou Resort area of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island, the Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village recently
completed refurbishment of 74 one- two- and three-bedroom villas overlooking the Kona Country Club golf course.
In a related development, Shell Vacations LLC and Greater Pacific Limited Partnership recently announced a joint
venture agreement calling for the development of an additional 150-200 two-bedroom, two bath units. Greater Pacific,
based in Honolulu, Hawaii, will contribute prime property with both ocean-front and golf course views to the venture
and Shell Vacations will develop, market and sell the vacation ownership units.
Shell Vacations has also developed Kona Coast Resort Phases I and II and Paniolo Greens Resort as well as a dozen
other resorts in California, Arizona and Canada.
