Promoting better rapport with fun-filled Family Day

300 take part in day-long carnival by Tanco Resorts and Chinese daily

VARIOUS fun-filled activities were held during a Family Day carnival jointly organised by Tanco Resorts Berhad and Sin Chew Jit Poh recently.

The day-long event, which was held at the Duta Palms Resorts in Rawang, Selangor, was opened by Gombak district officer Ishak Ahmad.

Also present were Duta Palms liaison committee vice-chairman Aziz Hanipi, Sin Chew Jit Poh deputy chief editor Pook Ah Lek and Tanco Resorts Berhad executive director Chee Hong Leong.

About 300 people participated in the carnival, comprising members of Tanco Resorts, their family members and other guests.

Aziz said the carnival was aimed at promoting the spirit of togetherness, love and understanding among the participants and their family members.

Among events held were song and dance performances by the children, drawing contest, sandcastle-building competition, biscuit tower-building contest and poolside games.

Winners received prizes sponsored by Nestle, McDonald's, Southern Lion, Ginvera, Gillette Excel, Nesh Water Treatment Systems, Hwa Tai Foods and Upha.
