NORTHBROOK, IL -- Shell Vacations Club (SVC) and SVC Pacific Group LLC recently opened their fifth Shell Vacations
Club sales office. The new office is located in Federal Way, Washington, approximately 20 miles south of Seattle.
According to Bill Tsao, Chief Operating Officer of SVC Pacific Group, Steve Thomas has been named the Director of Sales at Federal Way and will also assume regional overshight duties for their Lynwood, Washington office. Thomas was previously Director of Sales at Lynnwodd. Mike Van Horne has been named Director of Sales for the Lynnwood office. Van Horne joins the group with extensive sales management experience, having recently worked for Epic Resorts in Arizona.
The Federal Way preview center is similar in size to SVC-PG's other off-site offices of approximately 5,000 square feet. With a total staff of 20, including sales managers, agents and support staff, the center is geared to tour about 150 guest couples per week. In addition to the new Federal Way office, SVC Pacific Group operates California off-site preview centers in San Diego as well as an on-site at the Peacock Suites Resort in Anaheim. Washington State centers are located in Vancouver and Lynnwood.
Steve Thomas was recently named Director of Sales for the Lynnwood office, where he is responsible for regional management duties.
Added Bill Tsao, "SVC Pacific Group posted record sales of over $2.4 million for the month of August. With the opening of Federal Way, we expect to continue on pace to achieve our target of over $30 million in Shell Vacation Club sales in our first year of operations. This involves a combination of new sales, conversions and owner marketing. We heartedly commend our dedicated sales and marketing plus administrative staff who have helped us achieve these lofty goals."
He continues, "Since our launch in March of this year, we have received tremendous support from our developer-partner, Shell Vacations LLC, in Northbrook, Illinois, in terms of personnel who have provided sales training, Information Technology support, and contract processing support. We are more positive than ever that we are delivering an innovative and exciting points-based vacation ownership product to our valued customers and look forward to a strong fourth quarter as we solidify our existing operations and begin to incorporate new sales programs with the infrastructure we have recently built."
With a total of ten off site Preview Centers and 14 resorts located in California, Hawaii, Arizona and Canada, Shell Vacation is one of the nation's largest independently owned vacation ownership developers, serving more than 50,000 owners. The company is expected to reach net sales in excess of $100 million this year.
