OCEANSIDE -- Crews are digging 20 feet below train tracks to build a $2.5 million pedestrian underpass at Pier
View Way.
The underpass will provide access between downtown and a proposed resort hotel and a time-share complex at the
beach.
Crews will excavate about 6,640 cubic yards of dirt and pour about 400 cubic yards of concrete to build the underpass.
