Press Release: Four Seasons Residence Clubs
November 5, 2001
SEDONA, AZ -- Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts unveiled Saturday its newest property, Four Seasons Golf Club and
Spa Sedona at Seven Canyons.
Sedona at Seven Canyons is the first private club and residential community to be developed by Four Seasons independent
of a Four Seasons resort or hotel.
The Four Seasons Golf Club and Spa Sedona at Seven Canyons is located on approximately 200 acres of stunning red-rock
desert, and surrounded by 100,000 acres of protected national forest land, ensuring that the development's only
neighbor will be pure Sedona wilderness. Offering the epitome in privacy, service and amenities, access to the
Sedona at Seven Canyons Golf Club and Spa is limited to a total of 375 people, comprised of club members and the
community's homeowners. The golf course is scheduled to be complete in April 2002 and the spa in fall/winter 2003.
Award-winning golf course designer (and former British Open champion) Tom Weiskopf has designed an environmentally
sensitive 18-hole, par 70 championship golf course that blends seamlessly into Sedona's natural landscape. Weiskopf
has led its development through personal on-site supervision. The first phase of the course is complete, including
the fairways, cart paths, and greens surrounding some holes.
A 55,000 square-foot clubhouse will serve as the property's social and recreational epicenter, featuring a pro-shop,
locker rooms, swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and activities center. Fine dining on the clubhouse's balconies will
provide stunning canyon views. A 10,000 square-foot world-class spa and fitness center, connected to the clubhouse,
will offer treatments indigenous to this mystical region.
The residential community, which will surround the club, will be comprised of 74 2,481 square-foot, 3-bedroom homes,
to be sold on a shared ownership basis, approximately 12 lots for custom private estates and approximately 20 custom
villas.
``Providing exceptional living experiences has always been the hallmark of Four Seasons, whether it's our hotels,
resorts, private spas, golf courses or restaurants,'' said Duffy Keys, senior vice president, Four Seasons Residential
properties. ``Four Seasons Golf Club and Spa Sedona at Seven Canyons extends this core philosophy, providing luxury
hospitality to a select number of members and residents in an extraordinary setting.''
