Press Release

FAIRFIELD GLADE, TN -- Fairfield Resorts, one of the largest vacation ownership companies in the world, recently
honored two longtime Fairfield Glade employees for reaching 30-year milestones with the company.
Thurman Maxwell, vice president of Fairfield Glade construction and engineering, and Jim Reed, regional vice president
for RCI Resort Management (formerly Fairfield Resort Management), were recognized for three decades of service
to Fairfield at a surprise anniversary celebration at Fairfield Glade hosted by their colleagues on September 28,
2001.
"Jim and Thurman have helped build Fairfield Resorts from its earliest days, and continue to serve as extraordinary
leaders and exemplary employees," said Franz S. Hanning, president and CEO, Fairfield Resorts. "We are
thankful for their dedication to Fairfield, and know that their efforts have contributed to thousands of memorable
vacations for our owners."
Maxwell, a Cookeville, Tennessee native, first came to Fairfield Glade in October 1971 as an assistant construction
superintendent. He later served Fairfield Glade for ten years as construction manager, and has spent the last decade
as vice president of construction.
"I remember when you could call an "all employee" meeting at Fairfield and still seat everyone at
the same table," said Maxwell. "We've grown from just a few resorts to many since that time, and I'm
never surprised by how our guests keep coming back."
Reed, a native of Crossville, Tennessee, began his career as a payroll clerk at Fairfield Glade in September 1971,
and has since served in various positions, including Fairfield Glade site controller, president of the Fairfield
Glade Community Club, vice president of administration and regional property manager for Fairfield Resorts. Appointed
regional vice president for RCI Resort Management earlier this year, Reed supervises property managers and oversees
operations at locations in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas and Utah.
"It's been rewarding to get to know so many friendly Fairfield owners, and to work with a team that's second
to none," said Reed. "These days, it may seem a little unusual to stay with one company for 30 years,
but I wouldn't have it any other way."
Fairfield Resorts, with more than 340,000 vacation-owning households, is one of the largest vacation ownership
companies in the world, marketing and selling resort properties at 34 locations in 12 states. Fairfield Resorts
owners enjoy industry-leading customer service, with toll-free telephone customer service representatives to help
