DELAND -- Bondholders who pushed Epic Resorts into bankruptcy court have accused the president of the company of
transferring Epic assets out of the company without Bankruptcy Court approval.
The bondholders also accuse Thomas Flatley, president of Pennsylvania-based Epic, of taking on additional debt
without the approval of creditors, as required under the terms of a 1998 bond sale, according to a report in the
Philadelphia Inquirer.
The allegations were included in the bondholders' request that U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Mary Walrath appoint
a trustee to oversee the reorganization of Epic Resorts and Epic Capital Corp.
