November 14, 2001
VAIL, CO -- Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) yesterday announced that Breckenridge will open for the 2001-2002 winter season
this Friday as originally scheduled, while Vail and Beaver Creek are moving their opening dates to Thanksgiving
week due to a period of recent warm fall weather. Keystone has been open to skiers and snowboarders since Oct.
26.
``We're excited that Breckenridge is opening this Friday and that Keystone was one of the first resorts in the
state to open to skiers and snowboarders more than two weeks ago. We are also looking forward to Vail and Beaver
Creek opening for the season next week -- which day that will be is dependent on the weather,'' said Andy Daly,
president of Vail Resorts.
