The new Base Village proposed for the Snowmass Ski Area is set to be unveiled on Dec. 3.
That’s the day that Intrawest and the Aspen Skiing Co. plan to formally submit a conceptual “sketch plan” application
to the town for a new village at the bottom of the ski area.
“The sketch plan starts the dialogue with the town,” said Paul Shepherd, a vice president of development with Intrawest.
And on Dec. 3, Intrawest and the Skico plan to hold a public unveiling for the project, which is expected to include
hundreds of new condos and thousands of square feet of new commercial space.
