Head of Epic is alleged to have shifted assets

Bondholders of Epic Resorts L.L.C. are alleging that the president of the King of Prussia company transferred assets out of the business without the required Bankruptcy Court approval.

The bondholders also say Epic's president, Thomas Flatley, violated terms of a 1998 bond sale by taking on more debt without creditor approval.

The creditors' charges were part of their request this week that U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Mary F. Walrath in Wilmington appoint a trustee to oversee Epic's reorganization.
