REDMOND, WA -- Trendwest Resorts, Inc. (Nasdaq:TWRI), yesterday announced the Grand Openings of its latest resorts,
WorldMark at Branson, which is being held this afternoon, and WorldMark at Lake of the Ozarks, to be held on the
17th.
``We are excited about bringing the Trendwest vacation experience to the midwest region of the country. Both of
these resorts, which are representative of our development capabilities, offer our Vacation Credit owners a wide
variety of recreational experiences,'' commented Bill Peare, president and CEO of Trendwest Resorts, Inc.
When fully complete, WorldMark at Branson will have a total of 175 condominium units. The first phase consists
of 81 fully-equipped condominium units with many resort amenities including: a recreation building, pool, spa and
sports court. Located on the Thousand Hills Golf Resort in the scenic Ozark Mountains, Branson offers units with
gas fireplaces and private decks with barbecues. Guests of the resort will be able to enjoy Branson, known to many
as America's ``Live Entertainment Capital'', with its world-class shows and festivals featuring a variety of top-name
entertainers. Besides golf, guests can access the community's clubhouse and pro shop; relax by the outdoor swimming
pool; enjoy the outdoor spa; and work out on the resort's tennis and sports courts.
WorldMark at Lake of the Ozarks will ultimately feature 100 condominium units, 72 of which will be completed this
summer. Located on the shores of the largest manmade lake in Missouri, WorldMark at Lake of the Ozarks features
an outdoor swimming pool with spa and large recreation center complete with electronic games and weight room. Guests
can tie up their boats at one of the slips on the property's 200-foot plus dock and sunbathe on the resort's beautiful
deck. Surrounded by forested hills, each of the units features a fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, and private
deck with gas barbecue.
