A developer plans to build a 30-story, two-tower, timeshare/hotel at the site of the old Days Inn and Bahama hotels
at Fort Lauderdale beach.
Sable Resorts submitted plans last month to develop a 346-room hotel and a 171-unit timeshare facility on most
of the city block bordered by State Road A1A to the east, Birch Road to the west, Riomar Street to the north and
Bayshore Drive to the south.
The Days Inn and Bahama hotels would be torn down and replaced with the new development, called The Capri.
