KAYSVILLE, UT -- PC Consulting (PCC), the developers of the TimeShareWare software suite and other technology solutions
for the vacation ownership industry, has announced its plans to exhibit its products at three major timeshare and
hospitality conventions in 2001.
On April 21-24, 2001 PCC will participate at the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Convention &
Exposition at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida. PCC has been an ARDA Trustee since 2000 and an exhibitor
at the annual convention since 1994. The convention boasts more than 4,000 attendees and 300 exhibition booths.
Timo Jones, President of PCC and a member of the ARDA Meetings Committee, will be speaking at the event. In addition,
Jerry Sandorf, PCC’s Director of Market Development, and Veijo Jones, PCC’s MIS Director, will be moderating and
teaching seminars.
PCC will make its first-ever appearance at the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC)
June 26-28, 2001 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. HITEC’s primary purpose is to provide
a forum where hospitality industry technology executives can come to learn about the wide range of technology products
available to them. This popular convention will be attended by more than 6,000 hospitality technology professionals
and will feature 800 exhibition booths.
In the fall, it’s off to Europe for the Organization for Timeshare in Europe (OTE) annual meeting held at the Belem
Convention Centre in Lisbon, Portugal on September 28-30. Over 1,100 developers, resort management companies, and
resort operators are expected to be in attendance. OTE is the largest timeshare trade organization in Europe and
represents the interests of the timeshare industry in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Participation
at OTE has served as a solid foundation for taking PCC’s products and services to the world market. This will be
PCC’s second appearance at the OTE conference.
Mr. Sandorf explained PCC’s intentions in attending these conventions. “Several years ago we realized that for
our company to continue to achieve year over year sales increases we would eventually need to add breadth to our
product offering and increase the geography to which we market. Participating in ARDA, HITEC, and OTE reinforces
our commitment to long-term growth.”
Mr. Timo Jones remarked that this was just the next logical step toward the company’s long-term goal. “Obviously,
the more conventions we can attend as a company, the more our name will appear in the industry and the more recognizable
it will be. These conventions provide a unique venue for our company because timeshare and hospitality professionals
from around the world come together to network with one another.”
