RUTHERFORD, NJ -- AXS-One Inc. (AMEX: AXO), a leading global provider of e-business solutions, yesterday announced
a joint venture between its South African subsidiary and Resort Condominium International (RCI), Southern Africa,
the region's leading holiday exchange company.
The new company, Hospitality Warehouse, which will become operational during the second quarter of 2001, will provide
timeshare and other resorts with a comprehensive on-line procurement service.
Hospitality Warehouse will act as the Internet host for a network of preferred vendors, utilizing TransAXS(TM)
solutions provided by AXS-One. This service will offer a wide variety of resort-related products, ranging from
insurance to consumables.
``Indications are that the vendors' cost of sales will be cut by 15-20% and the efficiency of the resorts' procurement
processes dramatically improved,'' commented Sandy Begg, RCI Corporate Service Director.
Initially, the service will be offered to RCI's 184 local resorts, with a subsequent rollout to the general leisure
industry.
