Marriott Vacation Club International boasts a worldwide list of Vacation Ownership and Rental Villas with destinations
ranging from Paradise Island to Breckenridge. Guests enjoy their vacations surrounded by luxuries within an escape
atmosphere.
Marriott Vacation Club International is also expanding the network of luxury European Vacation Ownership resorts
selecting some of the continent's most attractive locations.

MARRIOTT VACATION CLUB INTERNATIONAL NAMES FIRST VACATION OWNERSHIP PROPERTY IN ASIA
Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) has named – Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club – as the first Vacation Ownership
resort in Asia. Located in Phuket, Thailand, Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club will be adjacent to the 265-room JW Marriott
Resort Phuket. Both properties are targeted to open January 2002.
Situated on Mai Khao Beach, approximately 10 miles from the Phuket International Airport, the resort will offer
144 two-bedroom/two-bath villas each with 1,282 square feet of spacious living space. Each villa will provide a
master suite featuring a deep soaking tub, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, utility room with washer/dryer
and private balcony. Sales begin May 2001 at an average of $16,000 per week of ownership.
The 34-mile long island offers an array of activities for resort guests. From sailing, snorkeling and ocean cave
exploring to golf, horseback riding and jungle trekking, guests can take advantage of a variety of options. Additionally,
the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park provides sites of streaming waterfalls, granite outcrops and diverse wildlife.

Opening January 2003 in Kauai, Hawaii, Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club is Marriott Vacation Club International’s
(MVCI) latest resort addition.
Situated on spectacular Poipu Beach, the 231-villa (proposed) resort will offer owners and guests a center courtyard
pool, children’s pool and whirlpool spas, poolside restaurant and bar, children’s activity center, two lighted
tennis courts, fitness center and The MarketPlaceSM convenience store and deli.
Each spacious, two-bedroom, two-bath villa (averaging 1,250 square feet) offers beautiful ocean and island views.
Villa features include a master suite with luxurious soaking tub, fully equipped kitchen, separate living and dining

MARRIOTT VACATION CLUB INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES NEW ADDITION IN LAKE TAHOE
Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) announces the development of its fifth resort in California, Marriott’s
Timber Lodge. MVCI will begin construction in May on the 261-villa (proposed) Vacation Ownership resort located
in South Lake Tahoe. Targeted to open in November 2002, the resort is conveniently situated at the base of the
world-renowned Heavenly Ski Area – showcasing one of the world’s longest and fastest ski gondolas – and within
walking distance to Lake Tahoe.
The resort will feature one-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath villas. Each villa will provide a master
suite with a deep soaking tub, fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, multiple televisions, a VCR and
washer/dryer. Sales for Marriott’s Timber Lodge begins early 2002 with pricing ranging from $12,150 to $43,900
per week of ownership.

MARRIOTT’S KO'OLINA BEACH CLUB TO OPEN IN JANUARY 2003
Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) is currently developing a new resort in Oahu – Marriott’s Ko Olina
Beach Club. Opening in January 2003, the resort is the fourth MVCI resort in Hawaii.
Conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Honolulu International Airport, the proposed 750-villa resort
(two-bedroom/two-bath) is near the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko Olina. The resort is part of the Ko
Olina Resort, which currently includes a condominium/townhouse complex, an 18-hole championship golf facility,
a Hawaiian cultural and entertainment center and a 350-slip marina. The golf course, designed by Ted Robinson,
opened in 1990 and has been ranked among the top 75 resort courses by Golf Digest.
Sales for Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club are targeted for October 2001.

MARRIOTT VACATION CLUB INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES THIRD RESORT IN SPAIN
Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI) announces Marriott’s Club La Sella as its newest Vacation Ownership
resort in Spain. Located on the Valencian coastline near Denia, the 168-villa resort (proposed) will be adjacent
to a 184-room Denia Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, where owners will have access to a variety of resort activities
and services. Both properties are targeted to open in December 2002.
Marriott’s Club La Sella will boast spacious one, two and three-bedroom villas ranging in size from 867 to 1,657
square feet with mountain views. Upon opening, 22 villas will showcase a master bedroom with whirlpool tub, fully-equipped
kitchen, separate living and dining areas, multiple televisions, VCR in the living room, washer and dryer and balcony.
Sales for Marriott’s Club La Sella begins June 2002 with prices ranging from $10,000 to $22,500 per week of ownership.
