PARSIPPANY, NJ -- Resort Condominiums International, LLC (RCI) announced yesterday the appointment of Philippe
Guionnet as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Guionnet joins RCI from Cendant's Corporate
IT group, where he was directly responsible for IT Merger & Acquisitions. In his new role, Guionnet will be
directly responsible for all day-to-day IT operations at RCI and align the company's vision with operational priorities.
Prior to his position with Cendant Corporate IT, Guionnet was CIO of the Cendant Membership Division leading a
turnaround of the IT group, overseeing 18 vertical Web sites, call center technology, enterprise data warehousing,
enterprise financial systems, maintenance optimization and business process re-engineering. Before joining Cendant,
he served as Senior Vice President and CIO of the U.S. subsidiary of Accor, one of the world's largest travel and
tourism companies. While there, Guionnet's group managed technology systems for more than 1,000 economy-lodging
and 4 star hotels, implemented a real-time central reservation system deployed to 800+ hotels, implemented Oracle
Financials & Procurement, planned and built a business process re-engineering initiative and a maintenance
optimization department, and successfully planned and executed major IT projects in property management, point-of-sale
and revenue management, while leading a turnaround of the group through project execution discipline.
Guionnet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bordeaux University, France and a professional Master of Hospitality
from the Tadworth University, England. Guionnet is based in Parsippany, NJ.
