Polo Towers over the weekend relocated nearly 300 guests to different rooms or different hotels in response to
the contracting of Legionnaire's disease by three people who had vacationed at the Strip time-share condominiums.
All three guests were hospitalized but have recovered since the incidents in February, March and May, health district
officials said.
Polo Towers property executives voluntarily closed down 14 of Tower 2's 19 floors and notified all guests about
the possible risk of exposure to Legionella, the bacterium that causes Legionnaire's disease.
