MARBELLA, Spain -- RMI is pleased to announce the acquisition of Universal Vacations and Universal Vacation Club.
This acquisition will allow the members of both Universal Vacations and Universal Vacation Club the potential to
access the existing portfolio of RMI products thereby offering greater flexibility and choice for the future with
the capability to visit an expanded portfolio of top resort destinations on a worldwide basis.
Ian Goddard, former Managing - Director of Universal Vacations and Universal Vacation Club commented, "In
a rapidly consolidating market place, it became imperative for the future for our members to become part of a larger
organisation. RMI with its reputation for vision and innovative product development provides the best synergistic
potential for the members in the future.

About the RMI Consortium:
RMI (Gibraltar) Limited was founded by Anton Tardif, the current chairman, back in 1988. Anton had previously held
the position of Sales and Marketing Director at resorts in both Portugal and Malta.
RMI (Gibraltar) Limited and its wholly owned Management Company, currently own and operate eight prestigious resorts
in their entirety along with two multi-destinational clubs. In addition the Consortium holds further varying amounts
of owned inventory in a total of thirty-two resorts, with an overall membership base exceeding twenty eight thousand

The primary multi-destinational club that is currently also the greatest contributor to the new member enrolments
within the RMI Consortium is ATLAS - The Vacation Owners Club and its generic subsidiary Club Atlantis. The detailed

RMI (Gibraltar) Limited is a prominent member of both ARDA (the American Resort Developers Association) and the
European trade body, OTE, where varying employees sit on a number of the executive committees.
