Epic clients await bankruptcy options: Resort customer's future depends on court filings

DAYTONA BEACH -- No action has been taken by the state so far in the forced bankruptcy of Epic Resorts, but several things could happen, according to the state Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

The company was forced into bankruptcy under Chapter 7, which means its assets eventually would be liquidated.

But what happens to Epic clients who purchased "points" that entitle them to future stays at Epic resorts?
