PLAYACAR, Mexico -- For the fourth consecutive year, Viva Resorts’ Club Viva Maya, located in Playacar, in the
Riviera Maya, Mexico, has been honored with the “Resort Condominiums International, LLC (RCI) Gold Crown” resort
designation, which is RCI’s top honor for its affiliates. As an affiliate of RCI, Club Viva Maya received this
award for its high levels of quality and service.
“It is an honor to receive the RCI Gold Crown designation in recognition of our continuous commitment to first-class
service and quality standards,” said Alvar E. Ojeda, general manager of Club Viva Maya.
In its tenth year, the RCI Gold Crown program recognizes resort affiliates that consistently provide superior vacation
experiences for their owners and guests. The awards are determined by RCI members, who submit evaluations of their
vacation experiences after they travel. Members rate the quality of the resort facilities and services in five
categories: unit quality, hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance and check-in/check-out.
“RCI is proud to recognize Club Viva Maya as one of our top quality resorts,” said Kenneth May, president and CEO
of RCI. “Being recognized as an RCI Gold Crown Resort is a distinct honor, because it is a direct reflection of
the consistently memorable and enjoyable vacations that our members have experienced there.”
RCI is the world’s largest vacation ownership exchange company with more than twice as many affiliated resorts
and members than its nearest competitor.
