WEST END, Grand Bahama Island -- Brian A. McLaughlin has been named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of West End Resorts Ltd., the development company of Old Bahama Bay, a new residential, resort and marina community. The former CEO, Kenneth Olson, is retaining a seat on the Board of Directors and is an Old Bahama Bay property owner. In addition, Michel Neutelings has joined Old Bahama Bay as the new General Manager for the development's 47-room luxury resort, The Inn at Old Bahama Bay and the 72-slip full-service Marina.

Mr. McLaughlin brings 27 years of residential and resort community development experience to Old Bahama Bay. He has been involved in the planning, design, development, operations and disposition of numerous resorts, recreational and residential projects throughout the United States and the Caribbean including 28 large-scale resorts, recreational, and residential communities, 9 hotels and timeshare operations, 16 resort villa operations, 5 commercial centers and 15 individual residential projects.

Old Bahama Bay is pleased to have the extensive background that Mr. McLaughlin provides to spearhead the next phase of its development. This impressive parcel is approximately 2000 acres adjacent to phase one which is planned to include signature golf courses, a private airport, marina expansion, residential home sites, villas and hotels.

As a member of the Urban Land Institute for the past 20 years, Mr. McLaughlin has served on its Residential Development Council, Recreational Development Council and the Florida District Council. He is currently Assistant Chairman of ULI's Recreational Development Council, (Gold). He has been active in a variety of community organizations and serves on various boards.

Mr. McLaughlin received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Harvard College in Cambridge, Mass. He studied law at Boston College and Suffolk University Law Schools in Boston, and received a Master of Science from The George Washington University. He received his M.B.A. degree with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Michel Neutelings' experience provides the resort at Old Bahama Bay with a style and operational savvy that will secure its position as one of the top Caribbean luxury resorts. With a bachelor degree from the Center International de Glion in Montreux, Switzerland, Michel brings to this project his knowledge of the luxury resort market and a multitude of marketing experiences with prestigious associations such as Relais Chateau and Leading Hotels of the World.

Mr. Neutelings' expertise is well suited for The Inn at Old Bahama Bay's discerning guests. His previous experience with five star properties in the Caribbean and around the world provides The Inn at Old Bahama Bay with a General Manager that understands the level of service and amenities the client expects. Many years of general management positions at unique top resorts including, Parrot Cay - Turks and Caicos, K Club - Barbuda, La Cheneviere - Normandy, France, and Hotel Guanahani - St. Barthelemy has provided Mr. Neutelings with the nuances of island resort management and the working knowledge to handle any situation providing the ultimate satisfaction in the guest experience.

The Inn at Old Bahama Bay is expanding with the opening of a multi-level oceanfront pool, including an infinity lounging area overlooking the beach and the ocean. By year end, guests will enjoy exercising in the state-of-the-art fitness center, conducting business in the spacious meeting areas, and exchanging vows in the pristine gazebo set on a jetty overlooking the Atlantic.
