Telephone Support Line Enables Faster, Easier and More Direct Process for Securing Hotel Accommodations

ATLANTA, GA -- Six Continents Hotels yesterday announced that it has established a new hotline, 1-800-447-2981, to help travelers and family members and friends of those touched by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks to find hotel rooms more quickly and easily.

Effective immediately, the new telephone hotline is open to offer hotel services to any traveler stranded by the commercial air travel halt or any bereaving family member or friend of a victim involved in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks involving the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the four hijacked commercial plane flights.

By calling the hotline, travelers will contact a team of specially trained Six Continents Hotels guest services representatives dedicated to rapidly finding an available hotel room at locations throughout the United States. Six Continents Hotels' more than 2,000 hotels in the United States include Inter-Continental® Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza® Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, and Staybridge Suites® by Holiday Inn®.

The Six Continents Hotels hotline team will work with callers to either book a room through a Six Continents Hotels property or another hotel chain, and every caller will be given the best available rate for hotel rooms.
