BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- In the wake of Tuesday's tragic events, Hilton Hotels Corp. provided the following update
as to the status of several of its hotels.
These reports will be updated as events warrant.
At 9:30 a.m. PDT yesterday, the status of hotels, particularly those in and around New York and Washington, was
as follows:
Regarding the two company properties around the World Trade Center, the Embassy Suites Battery Park remains evacuated,
with no reported injuries. The Hilton Millenium remains evacuated with no reported injuries. The level of damage
is expected to be minor, including approximately 75 shattered windows. News reports of a fire at that hotel are
unfounded.
As to the company's other hotels in and around New York and Washington -- the Doubletree Hotel Times Square, Hilton
Times Square, Waldorf-Astoria, Hilton New York & Towers, Embassy Suites Crystal City (Washington, D.C. metro
area), and Doubletree National Airport Hotel -- none reported injuries, and all are open with normal operations
and accepting reservations. Additionally, the Hilton Boston Logan Airport is open and accepting reservations.

The company re-confirmed its policy that no cancellation or ``no show'' fees will be imposed for any reservation
scheduled for Sept. 11 through Sept. 16, nor will early departure charges be imposed for any departures Sept. 11-16.
Additionally, no cancellation charges or penalties will be imposed for any group, social or other event between
Sept. 11, and Oct. 31.
The company has committed to flexibility and working cooperatively with its guests and customers during this difficult
time.
