MIAMI, FL -- Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., like everyone, is devastated by Tuesday's tragedy, but expects all of its Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises ships to maintain their normal cruising schedules throughout this week and beyond.

The company's offices remain in operation with reservations personnel currently available on a 24-hour basis. The company is also working with travel agents and U.S. port authorities to ensure the normal operations of both fleets.

The company is continuing to monitor the situation in New York and will use the coming days to determine if any changes are needed regarding its Bermuda cruises, that depart from and return to New York.

The Federal Aviation Administration has announced that U.S. air travel will resume today and the company anticipates that airline service levels will improve rapidly over the next few days.

Guests who have purchased their air travel through the company can be assisted by company representatives with arrangements to reach their departing ships. Guests who have purchased their own air travel are asked to contact their airlines directly for assistance. Normal cancellation policies are currently in effect.

The company has established a help desk to assist family members wanting to check the status of loved ones onboard ships. Family members may call 1-888-829-4050.

Shipboard guests with relatives who may have been impacted by yesterday's attacks are being provided free phone lines to check on their well-being.

Any further inquiries regarding cruise operations can be answered by calling Royal Caribbean International at 1-800-327-6700 or Celebrity Cruises at 1-800-437-3111.
