Press Release: Baymont Inns & Suites
November 2, 2001
MILWAUKEE, WI -- Baymont Inns & Suites has officially converted its reservation and frequency program operations
to InnLink Corp., one of the nation's leading reservation service providers. InnLink's new facilities in suburban
Nashville, Tenn. began managing Baymont's reservation operations this week.
``This is an exciting transition for Baymont,'' said Jim Abrahamson, president and COO of Baymont Inns, Inc. ``By
outsourcing our reservation operations to InnLink's new technology platform, we will significantly improve service
to our guests and travel agents, as well as simplify operations for our employees at a lower cost to the company
and our franchisees.''
InnLink will provide Baymont with state-of-the-art software that allows reservation agents to be more responsive
to callers. From room availability to special amenities offered at each hotel, agents will have faster access to
more information on a real-time basis to help them meet customer needs.
For travel agents, InnLink's Seamless Connectivity to all of the major Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including
Sabre and Apollo, enhances electronic booking capabilities. The system allows a travel agent to receive an immediate
reservation confirmation.
At the property level, the conversion to the new system is essentially ``seamless'' and InnLink is providing 24/7
support to hotels should questions or problems arise. Following this successful changeover, Baymont and InnLink
will begin development of a proprietary two-way connectivity system that will further connect Baymont hotels with
the reservation system. ``InnLink's current technology will place our reservation operations on par with major
brands,'' Abrahamson said. ``The two-way system, which we hope to implement within the next year, will move us
to the cutting edge.''
``Baymont Inns & Suites is an excellent addition to our growing client list and we look forward to further
building our partnership with them,'' said Mike Young, president of InnLink Corp. ``We work hard to help our clients
build their brands and we are confident that InnLink's superior reservation system will help Baymont maintain its
standard of being 'Best in Class.'''
Headquartered in Hendersonville, Tenn., InnLink Corp. is one of the nation's leading private label voice and electronic
reservation services.
