DALLAS, TX -- Wyndham International, Inc. (NYSE:WYN), the largest upscale hotelier in the Caribbean, has announced
that the company will convert the Sunshine Suites Resort Grand Cayman to the Wyndham brand in December 2001.
The newly named Sunshine Suites Resort- A Summerfield Suites® by Wyndham is located on Grand Cayman Island
in the British West Indies.
``In the midst of a tightening economy, it's important that Wyndham continues its plans for strategic growth in
the all-suite hotel segment,'' said Fred J. Kleisner, chairman and chief executive officer for Wyndham. ``Wyndham's
expansion into the Cayman Islands will prepare the company for the next resurgence of leisure travel. In addition,
we will now be able to offer travelers to the Cayman Islands a trusted brand name, as well as the valuable personalized
service and amenities only offered at Wyndham.''
Grand Cayman is one of three coral islands set in the northwest Caribbean Sea and is famous for its underwater
beauty and friendly, inviting culture. Centrally located in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach area, Wyndham's Sunshine
Suites Resort is near some of the island's hottest attractions, including the award-winning 18-hole golf course,
The Links at Safehaven. Travelers can also enjoy a number of water sports and explore the area's world-class shopping

Ideal for families and extended stays, the Sunshine Suites Resort features 130 fully-furnished one-bedroom, deluxe
