WASHINGTON, DC -- Members of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants convened recently in New Mexico
at the esteemed organization's annual meeting.
More than 100 highly qualified consultants pooled their unique thoughts and insights regarding industry developments
in light of the September 11th tragedies culminating in a White Paper, ``The Hotel Industry: Charting a Course
in Turbulent Times,'' now available on the society's Web site, www.ishc.com.

The ISHC, founded in 1989, is a professional society of 170 members in 16 countries who are leading consultants
in the hospitality industry. The not-for-profit society was formed in recognition of the public need for competent,
unbiased advice and professional guidance on hospitality industry issues.
The invitation-only membership is composed of leading consultants who possess expertise in more than 30 different
industry specialty areas and collectively have experience with more than 50 hotel companies and nearly 100 brands
worldwide.
ISHC members' clients include domestic and international, public and private hotel owners and investors; many leading
financial institutions; Fortune 500 companies; universities; and state, national and international convention,
hospitality travel and tourism bureaus.
