California's Three Largest Hotel and Lodging Associations Combine For Second Annual Western Lodging Show(TM)

Press Release: California Hotel & Lodging Association
July 10, 2001
SACRAMENTO, CA -- Record attendance is expected at the 2001 Western Lodging Show(TM) which will be held September 8th thru 10th in Long Beach, CA. The California Hotel and Lodging Association (CH&LA), The California Lodging Industry Association (CLIA) and The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), have joined again to produce the largest lodging-only trade show in California. Last year's huge success combining the three organization's members and resources made it only natural to keep the alliance together to produce record attendance.

The trade show will kick off with an Industry Unity Luncheon by all three organizations. California Governor Gray Davis has been invited to be the keynote speaker at the Unity Luncheon. AAHOA also is holding their National Women's Conference, Saturday, September 8th, which will draw members from all over the country.

Energy issues will have a major presence, as a whole area of the trade show will be dedicated to energy-related vendors. Seminars will be held directly adjacent to the ``Energy Pavilion.'' More than a dozen seminars will be held on the trade show floor so as not to draw the attendees far from the select group of vendors that are participating in the show.

The show features over 240 booth locations for vendors to pick from and sales are at a record pace.

Companies interested in exhibiting at the Western Lodging Show(TM) can obtain exhibitor information by contacting the show's management office at 916-325-9603, or web site: www.westernlodgingshow.com.
