MIAMI, FL -- For the seventh year in a row, the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences has selected Seabourn
Cruise Line to receive its International Five Star Diamond Award for outstanding commitment to excellence and service
within the hospitality industry. The 2001 award, which designates a recipient as one of the finest establishments
in the world, will be presented at a ceremony at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin on March 3, 2001.
Only a handful of entities have matched this record of consistent excellence, and they comprise a litany of some
of the most prestigious names in the industry: Hotel Arts Barcelona/Ritz Carlton Barcelona; The Peninsula Hong
Kong; The Ritz Carlton Kapalua; and the Turnberry Isle Resort and Club.

Guest ratings on the line's six ultra-luxury cruising vessels likewise reflect a consistent excellence, with marks
for overall experience posting steadily at or above nine out of a possible 10 points. Travel agents, too, have
given the line their stamp of approval. A recent annual independent industry survey found that travel agents scored
Seabourn highest among all lines measured for ``quality reputation'' and ``attention to detail.''
