Carlson Wagonlit Travel Appoints Nick Bluhm Vice President and CFO for The Americas

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a world leader in business travel and expense management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Bluhm to vice president and chief financial officer for the Americas. He is based in Minneapolis and will report directly to Tim Hennessy, global chief financial officer and Robin Schleien, president North America, Carlson Wagonlit Travel.

In his new role, Bluhm will lead all financial activities of the Americas including treasury, tax, audit, accounting, and financial analysis and reporting to effectively maintain the company's financial security and ethical standards. He will participate in the strategic and profitable development of the region's performance.

Bluhm has more than 20 years of financial management experience and an extensive background in management roles of various domestic and international telecommunications partnerships.

Prior to joining Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Bluhm was vice president/chief financial officer of 24k Gold Points Rewards, another division of Carlson Companies, Inc. His other experience includes positions as founder and president of Minneopa, Inc.; president and chief executive officer of OneLink Communications, Inc.; and chief financial officer of Onvoy, Inc. Bluhm also has experience in investment banking and management consulting with Dain Rauscher and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Bluhm has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master's of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
