ORLANDO, FL -- Delta Express, Delta's (NYSE: DAL) low-fare airline, and VISIT FLORIDA, the official tourism marketing
company for the state of Florida, have joined forces to make Florida more affordable and convenient to visitors
from around the world. Delta Express is one of an exclusive group of travel providers to be named a ``Strategic
Alliance Partner'' by VISIT FLORIDA.
``Our alliance with VISIT FLORIDA is critically important to Delta because travel to and from Florida represents
28 percent of our airline's overall revenue,'' said Tim Mapes, managing director-Delta Express. ``We are honored
that VISIT FLORIDA has selected Delta Express as its first airline strategic business partner. The combination
of their Florida know-how and our great low-fare service will make Florida more affordable and convenient to millions
of new and returning visitors.''

Delta Express and VISIT FLORIDA have entered into a multi-year agreement that provides the carrier with exclusive
advertising, marketing, public relations, promotional and sales opportunities in key Northeastern markets, while
supporting the overall marketing of tourism in the state of Florida. Terms of the agreement include co-branded
advertising, logo placement in numerous VISIT FLORIDA publications and the first right of refusal of any marketing
opportunities involving the Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island markets.

Delta Express opens new markets, increases frequencies in existing markets
During the past month alone, Delta Express has launched new low-fare service connecting Chicago-O'Hare with both
Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale, offering customers a choice of three convenient nonstops daily in each market. Delta
Express also recently announced that by Nov. 1, it would offer hundreds of additional low-fare seats between West
Palm Beach and Boston and Newark, Ft. Myers and Boston, Ft. Lauderdale and New York JFK, and Orlando and New York
JFK.
