INDIAN WELLS -- Visitors to the Hyatt Grand Champions resort soon will be driving over the old Indian Wells Masters
Series tennis stadium.
Demolition crews are working to turn the former local game piece into back-fill for a parking lot, said Mark Solit
of Solit Interests Group in Orinda.
The international Masters Series moved last year to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden and left the Hyatt facility
an empty bowl.
