(NYSE:MAR) announced yesterday the launch of EventCom Technologies by Marriott, a new service that provides communications and event management assistance for today's high-tech meetings. EventCom Technologies by Marriott is poised to serve the "interactive" meetings market, which spends an estimated $400 million annually for technical products and services and meeting sites.
