Press Release
March 23, 2001
BURLINGTON, MS -- Authoriszor Inc. (NASDAQ: AUTH), a leading-edge provider of integrated security solutions, yesterday
announced it has signed an agreement with Cyberes Plc, a leading UK travel consolidator that provides a business-to-business,
e-commerce solution for independent travel agents. Cyberes has purchased the Authoriszor 2000(TM) solution, consisting
of both client and server software, to enable the development of a secure extranet solution for its customers.
Cyberes Plc, listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM), has created an on-line travel reservation system
for independent travel agents in the UK. For the first time, the reservation system developed by Cyberes allows
independent travel agents real-time access to more than 50 million flights through its connection with SABRE, a
leading Global Distribution System. As well as giving agents real-time access to seat availability, the Cyberes
system uniquely provides both standard IATA (``published'') fares and thousands of discounted fares - specially
negotiated with 23 leading international airlines - simultaneously. By employing Authoriszor's products and services,
Cyberes expects to expand its current network and offer a secure extranet environment with transactional capabilities.
``Cyberes needs a highly secure solution, one that will enable our customers to safely transact business while
ensuring that only the appropriate access is given to the appropriate people,'' commented Tariq Malik, Managing
Director for Cyberes. ``Authoriszor provides this capability and enables us to concentrate on growing our business
by `opening' our system to new customers and expanding our current business relationships.''
Paul Ayres, CEO of Authoriszor Inc. added, ``We are very pleased that Cyberes has selected Authoriszor 2000 to
secure its extranet solution. By providing integrated security solutions to companies like Cyberes, we enable them
to expand their business, in part, by addressing the security concerns that are part of any B2B e-commerce solution.
We look forward to working with Cyberes as they develop secure business processes for their customers in an effort
to support their current sales channels, expand business opportunities and reduce the cost of doing business.''
