Press Release
January 5, 2001
DALLAS, TX -- Wyndham International, Inc. (NYSE:WYN), a leading hotel company, yesterday announced that it has signed a strategic purchasing agreement with On-Target Supplies & Logistics, Ltd., one of the largest minority-owned logistics management companies in the Southwest.

Under the terms of the agreement, Wyndham will buy a variety of products through On-Target, identify additional opportunities for On-Target through Wyndham's vendor network and sponsor a $75,000 internship program for a young minority professional seeking a career in corporate supply chain and logistics management.

On Target Supplies & Logistics, led by President and CEO Albert C. Black, Jr., provides logistics and supply-chain management services to global corporations, including Alcatel, Ericsson, Texas Instruments, TXU and others. On-Target, based in Dallas, employs 107 mostly inner-city residents.

``We were looking for a company that could provide us supplies and logistical services and we're excited to find the right company in our own neighborhood. We were drawn to On-Target because it is a very well-run company that combines extraordinary entrepreneurship with a zeal for community development,'' said Ted Teng, president and chief operating officer of Wyndham.

``Their commitment to economic opportunity and employee development matches our values and we are proud to have them become one of our leading vendors, which we believe can be a model for similar minority purchasing and development programs in our other major cities.''

Said Mr. Black: ``Wyndham has made a tremendous commitment to On-Target. The company's support of the internship program, its commitment to significant purchasing volume with us and Wyndham's eagerness to share its purchasing network will make a big impact on our company and our community. Wyndham is our first hotel company client and we believe this relationship will help our company grow in an important new market, both regionally and nationally.''

The Wyndham/On-Target internship will provide corporate purchasing training for a young minority professional for at least one year, under the direction of Stephanie Grimes, marketing and communications manager at On-Target and Jay Litt, senior vice president of procurement for Wyndham. The 2001 intern, Royce West, II, will concentrate on developing procurement opportunities and sharing best practices between the two companies.

Mr. Black will also serve as a member of Wyndham's Diversity Advisory Council, which provides expert guidance to the company on work place and economic development issues.
