FORT WORTH, TX -- Crescent Real Estate Equities Company (NYSE:CEI) Friday announced that Jane Mody has been named
executive vice president of capital markets for the company and will assume the role effective February 20, 2001.
``We are delighted to welcome Jane to our executive team,'' commented Denny Alberts, president & chief operating
officer. ``Her extensive experience of over 20 years in real estate capital markets will enhance and complement
the capabilities of Crescent's management team. She brings an outstanding reputation in both public and private
equity markets as well as strong banking relationships.''
Previously, Ms. Mody served as vice president of Goldman Sachs & Company's real estate merchant banking division
and Whitehall's nine real estate opportunity funds. From 1993 to 1999, she was co-founder and managing director
of Pacific Retail Trust, a $1.5 billion private real estate investment trust. Ms. Mody served five years as executive
vice president of Rosewood Property Company, a $1 billion private real estate company in the office, resort, and
residential business. She also served as vice president of Interfirst Bank-Dallas for seven years. Ms. Mody holds
a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin
College.
